Director's Circle members are leaders in the Fulbright alumni community who are committed to the Fulbright values of international understanding and intellectual exploration and want to ensure that those values are maintained.
Members of the Director's Circle are individuals who have made a donation of at least $1,000 or have secured a donation of that amount from a third party.
Members are people who can attribute success in their careers or in their personal lives to a Fulbright experience - be it going abroad or hosting a visiting Fulbright scholar. They are seasoned executives who had their first international experience with a Fulbright grant and today work for global corporations. They are young entrepreneurs who learned new ideas and connected with the right people during their Fulbright experience. One member of the Director's circle met his wife while on a Fulbright.
These special contributors and partners assure funding for a variety of FAST programs. At the same time, they also are able to feel the joy of being involved in the global Fulbright community. They can meet and connect with other global citizens, people who are working to change the world for the better. The Fall 2008 Gathering of the Director's Circle was in Chicago on November 14, 2008.
Joining the Director's Circle is easy! Just contact FAST to make your payment - which can be done by credit card or check. While Director's Circle level contributions start at $1,000 per year, there are four levels:
- Diamond Level: $10,000 minimum
- Gold Level: $5,000 minimum
- Silver Level: $2,500 minimum
- Supporting Level: $1,000 minimum

With your Director's Circle membership, we will automatically start or renew a complimentary year of membership in the Fulbright Academy. You also will be invited to special programs organized by the Fulbright Academy, such as
- A Dinner with leading Fulbright scholars and guests from government, business and academia - Singapore, October 2008
- Our Third Annual Director's Circle Luncheon with the Board of Directors - University of Illinois at Chicago, November 2008
- A program in Germany in March 2009
- A program in Macedonia in March 2009
- A program in Austria in October 2009
