New Programs Moving Forward As our membership grows, we are developing several new programs. The programs are based on the results of a series of interviews and meetings with individual members and partner organizations. One program under development is a marine conservation initiative, which was introduced in the November Newsletter. We would like to develop additional working groups comprised of Fulbrighters and other science & technology leaders who share a common interest. For example, several have talked with us about an initiative that addresses technologies and techniques for improving math, science & technology edcuation in the US and in developing countries. The Academy is an independent non-profit overseen by a dedicated group of volunteers. We receive finanical and moral support from selected Fulbright alumni groups, businesses, institutions, organizations, foundations, and individuals interested in developing a network of leaders in science and technology. We are not affiliated with the Fulbright Association, the US State Department or the Board of Foreign Scholars - your membership dollars and donations are not used for exchanges, but rather to support our global mission.
